small river running through the garden, lovely night ambiance, proximity to Alwen Dam
Thin walls and floors caused disturbances from the bar!!! The shower facilities need a serious upgrade to meet expectations!!! Higher rates without better amenities make it feel less appealing!!!

We had an awesome time with friends! Perfect spot for exploring Zipworld and Snowdon. Played darts in the pub, and the food was solid. Just a heads up, TV reception isn't great, but who needs TV with all the fun to be had. Can't wait to return!

Cozy stay with fab views
We crashed here for a night in room 6, which was cozy and clean with a comfy bed. The views from the window were stunning! Had a cracking evening meal. the steak was spot on. Service was a bit slow, though, which was kinda annoying. it’s a cute spot away from the hustle and bustle.

The lake view was stunning, yet the bed was uncomfortable during my stay.

missingWrote a review on 05 Julstunning viewsfriendly staffperfectly cooked steaknoisy publimited tv options
The local eats were top-notch, especially the perfectly cooked steak, and the views from my room were stunning—who doesn't love waking up to the Welsh countryside? The staff were super friendly, bringing that extra warmth to the experience.
The noise from the pub below and the struggle with heating made nights chilly and a tad restless. Plus, TV options were limited, so it wasn't the cosiest retreat on those dreary evenings.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making dinner particularly delightful with excellent food options, especially the perfectly cooked steak. the noise from the pub below occasionally disrupted our sleep, and the heating in our room could have been better.

Couple's Romantic Escape
Had a fantastic time with my partner, starting with a cozy evening by the fireplace in the pub, felt like home. Plus, the breakfast was great, all-you-can-drink coffee and a full plate for just £8, we even went for seconds.
It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
